Do not love the
demons! By John Chopores Le 17:7 "They shall no more offer their sacrifices to demons, after whom they have played the harlot. This shall be a statute forever for them throughout their generations."' God gave this “law” to
help keep people out of trouble. De 32:17 They sacrificed to demons, not to God, To gods they
did not know, To new gods, new arrivals That your fathers did not fear. What the “fathers” do not fear; can become the new (and false) “gods” of their children! Ps 106:37 They even sacrificed their sons And their
daughters to demons, Here we see; that they loved demons even more than their own family! Mt 8:16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many
who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and
healed all who were sick, Sickness; is one of the “gifts” that a demon brings to the person who will receive him! Mt 9:32 As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a
man, mute and demon-possessed. Mt 9:33 And when
the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying,
"It was never seen like this in Israel!" Sometimes; a demon needs to be cast out; so that good can come to a person. 1Co 10:20 Rather, that the things which the Gentiles
sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to
have fellowship with demons. The Greek word used here for “fellowship” is “koinonos” it means: “partner, associate”[1],“a sharer”[2], and “having in common”[3] Re 9:20 But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by
these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not
worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can
neither see nor hear nor walk. Here we see people who worship “demons”: such a thing! When they could have worshiped the true God: instead worship demons! In fact: some of the people worshiping demons may have been Christians at one time. Cf. 1Ti 4:1 ¶ Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, [1]Swanson, J. (1997).
