All the spirits in the Bible
By John Chopores
Matthew 4:24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.
We do not see anyone turned away, of those who came to Jesus Christ for help!
The Greek word used here for “demon-possessed” is “daimonizomai”, it means: “to be under the power of a demon”.
Matthew "The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,
Jesus Christ has the power to “send” out angels. This would seem to say that Christ (God the Son) has His own angels, to send out!
This could be because Christ (God the Son) is part of the Trinity. Cf. Matthew "For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.
Matthew 24:36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
There are some things that even the angels do not know.
Matthew 26:53 "Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?
We see here, that God has a very large number of angels, and those angels do the Will of God! Cf. Matthew Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
Also, the angels are set-up with order!
Some of the things, which angels do:
1. Separate the wicked from the just. Cf. Matthew "So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just,
2. Gather and carry the people of God. Cf. Matthew
24:31 "And He will send His angels
with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from
the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
3. Help bring forth the wrath of God. Cf. Revelation 15:7 Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever.
Luke 1:19 And the angel answered and said to him, "I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings.
The Greek word for “Gabriel” is “gabrihl”, it means: "man of God". From this it seems that angels are like men in some ways.
Luke 1:26 ¶ Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,

Luke And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
Angels can be very fast!
14 "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"
One of the things that
angels do is to give glory to God!
15 So it was,
when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds

Sometimes God is called: “Lord of hosts”.
Cf. 1 Samuel 4:4 So the people sent to
