Satan tried to kill God the Son: before
the Incarnation By John Chopores There
is only three Angels named in the Bible- 1.Michael(Heb."who
(is) like God?")[1] 2.Gabriel(Heb."
man of God",)[2] 3.Satan(Heb"opponent",Gk."the
accuser")[3] In
the Temple, the Ark of the Covenant had two angels over the Mercy seat; the
angels cover the mercy seat. In
Eze.28 Satan is said to cover cf. (Ezekiel 28:13-14 KJV) (13)
Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone {was} thy
covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the Beryl, the onyx, and the
jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship
of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast
created. (14) Thou {art} the anointed cherub that [4]covereth;
and I have set thee {so}: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast
walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. I
believe that maybe Satan was An Guardian Angel who covered God the Son (Christ), and
that He (Satan) tried to kill Christ and take His throne for himself (Satan)! Satan may have been over 1/3 of the Angels of God. Cf.
Re 12:4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the
earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to
devour her Child as soon as it was born. 5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all
nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. 6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness,
where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one
thousand two hundred and sixty days. 7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his
angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place
found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that
serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he
was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,
"Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of
His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before
our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 "And they overcame him by the blood of
the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives
to the death. We
know that after the Incarnation Satan tried to kill Christ. Cf. Mt 2:13 ¶ Now
when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a
dream and said, "Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt,
and remain there till I tell you; for Herod is about to search for the child,
to destroy him." [RSV]. 1Co
2:8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would
not have crucified the Lord of glory. (NKJV) Later he even tried to get Jesus Christ to
worship him! Cf. Mt 4:9 And he said to Him, "All these things I will give
You if You will fall down and worship me." (NKJV) ---------------------------------------------------- Satan may have been the last angel that God made. See
Eze.28:12 NAS. mar."were the one sealing a pattern". Ezekiel 28:12 12 Son
of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the [5]sum,
full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. (KJV) “You were the signet of perfection” [RSV]. [1]04317 Miyka'el {me-kaw-ale'} from 04310
